Breaking news and product announcements are the things that keep the video game community going. The news aspect of video games is was got Division-Gaming.com started in the first place.

If you notice in two of our categories, we only have four nominees. For the "Biggest Business Headline" category, we couldn't find a firth nominee that could even compare to the other four. In our "Most Surprising Product" category, we were just having a hard time find 'surprising' product announcements.Many of the games and hardware announcements made last year were expected. So we found the four that we thought could qualify.

In comparison to last year's Best of the Best Awards, we have one less category in "Biggest Stories". We had to drop the "Most Controversial Headline" category because we couldn't find very many controversial headlines. That category is now under "Misc. Awards".
